Affiliate disclosure

How WattVerdict is funded, in plain language.

We use affiliate links

WattVerdict is reader-supported. When you click a link on this site and buy a product on a third-party retailer, WattVerdict may receive a small commission from that retailer. The price you pay is the same as if you had visited the retailer directly.

Amazon Associates

WattVerdict is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

Other affiliate programs

WattVerdict may also earn commissions through direct affiliate programs with manufacturers and through affiliate networks. Where this applies, we will name the program in the article and on this page. As of the date above we are participating in:

  • Amazon Associates (United States)

New programs will be added here as we join them.

Why this doesn't change our rankings

Commission rates vary between products and between programs. Acting on commission rate rather than product quality is a one-way street to a site no one trusts, and a site no one trusts has no commissions to chase. Our rankings are decided by editors using the criteria on the how we test page, with the commission rate deliberately not visible during ranking decisions.

For the full set of editorial rules — including how we handle conflicts of interest and corrections — see our editorial policy.

How to support us

If a WattVerdict review or guide helped you buy the right power station, clicking through our affiliate link before checking out is the best way to support our work. It costs you nothing and it keeps the lights on around here. Thank you.
